If you are reading this internet blog post, it is likely that you live in the modern world and use modern technologies and conveniences. If you are a man, it is likely that you often remove hair that sprouts out of the bottom half of your face.  If you are a man and reading this, it is likely then, that you use modern conveniences to remove hair from the bottom half of your face. It could well be that the mod con you use for this facial hair removal task is a razor powered by electricity or one of many blades.

These are obviously fine, fine technologies, especially Gillette Mach 3 and Fusion razors, which we would promote over an electric razor as wet shaving is far, far better for a modern man’s skin. However, don’t forget that traditional razors still exist that retain the masculine joys of shaving – namely, the cut-throat and double-edge safety razors. In this video, Head Barber at Murdock Covent Garden, David Sturgeon, discusses the differences between the two and shows you, the modern man who reads the interweb and has his facial hair removed by robotic devices, how to change the blade of a double edge safety razor.
