Moonrise Kingdom is the fourth time that actor Jason Schwartzman and filmmaker Wes Anderson have collaborated (fifth if you count Hotel Chevalier – the short that fronts The Darjeeling Limited) ((sixth if you count Anderson’s American Express ad)).  Arriving in Cannes where Moonrise Kingdom is opening the fesitval, the usually long and flat haired Schwartzman was sporting a dashing new look.

Clippered short at the sides with a stylish swept and shiny side parting look, it’s certainly in keeping with current trends but works especially well on Schwartzman because the added volume on top with short sides shows off his bone structure far more than his shapeless longer hair ever did. The hair is complemented perfectly with some designer stubble and sharp red carpet suits. A style graduation to classic film star good looks that shows Schwartzman is ready to step up his game.
