We love beards here at Murdock. That’s one of our things. We’re beard people. We also have a penchant for round numbers. So a couple of weeks ago when Scottish, award winning photographer (and gentleman blogger behind the stylish Another Garçon website) Jonathan Daniel Pryce decided that his first project in his newly adopted city of London would be photographing one bearded man a day on his travels around the Big Smoke for one hundred days, he most certainly caught our attention.

He’s documenting this century of face fuzz at 100beards.tumblr.com and we like it so much we’ll quite happily claim it’s the reason God invented Tumblr. (Because God loves beards you know. He’s got one and all.) But be warned, if you’re prone to beard envy then these photos may turn you into some sort of sheep stealing, shearing, wool dyeing, wool sticking on face desperate to have a better beard loon.
